The day 21th of November the 4BIOLIVE consortium gathered at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya Escola de Camins for an inspiring day of knowledge-sharing and innovation in the field of sustainable bioeconomy. Experts shared groundbreaking research on biostimulants, biopolymers, and biogas production. Topics covered included:
- Transforming by-products into bio-products Antonio Cruz Bañeres, BioHubCat
- Harnessing natural dyes from agro-wastes – Marta Riba-Moliner INTEXTER UPC
- Recovering bioactive agents from agri-food waste – Sonia Sentellas Universitat de Barcelona
- Producing hydrogen from olive oil waste streams – Jordi Llorca Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya
Ivet Ferrer Group of Environmental Engineering and Microbiology. GEMMA UPC, Yamina Bouchikh – INRAA, Debora Puglia – UNIPG University and Somaya DBara – CRRHAB presented the results of the 4BIOLIVE project to the audience. Our Project Officer Eda Demir from PRIMA Partnership discussed the role of PRIMA and the overall available funding opportunities to pave the way for a more sustainable future!
The day after the consortium successfully run the final meeting of the project, discussing all the achieved results and the obtainment of the planned objectives.
